Whenever I go shopping, I buy a truckload of stuff and want to wear every single piece of it all together. Maitreya released some new stuff, and I picked up some things that may have been around a while, butthis focus is on a dress. I purchased the Poof&Puff dress both in champagne and black n white, and at 550L, I thought I need to get some wearability out them. So while playing dressups I have the champagne in it's single outfit glory, and mixed up the black poof skirt into an outfit with other items.

The black skirt mainly just came in handy because I bought the red tartan tights from Maitreya also, as well as the armwarmers, and needed to put them on asap. The sim looks a lot like an Armidi or Glam World shopping city, and while it took a while for the computer to load it all, the quality seems pretty good and worth the money spent. Oy, the money.

My Little Lamb

Bought a whole bunch of lamb hair, and found this cheap valentines skin at cupcakes. Also got a lot of great pieces at GiGi Couture.

Dodge/ Burn

I'm trying to learn a little bit more about photoshop, particularly thanks to Ryker Beck's how-to video. This is more focussed on the dodge and burn, highlighting the body, and next I'm going to be trying to cut an image cleanly from it's background.

Another Hideaway

Today I went exploring and photographing another one of AM Radio's creations, The Space between these Trees. Such a peaceful and heartwarming place to just relax in a pretty environment.

There are a few now that AM Radio has created, and for more I'd recommend finding his pictures on flickr.

Tableau Goodies

A notice from Church of Lux brought me to Tableau where I found some great items.

Left: Martina in Mint Right: Jenna in Pitch

Both a bargain, Martina comes with several top options, including black white and grey colours, and your choice if you want it tucked in.

Left: Valentine's Set 1 Right: Red Corset w/ Black Knickers

These I found at Nylon Outfitters, and priced at 180L each set were not too bad. They're contoured I guess is the word, the shape suits the body and looks very feminine. More for those who actually bother with lingerie, but now I keep wearing the pink bottoms around as shorts.

See more in stores at Tableau.

Ryker Beck - Igni Ferroque

Being interested in SL artists I headed over to Avatrait Island today to see Ryker Beck's exhibit, featuring new artworks and her installation Igni Ferroque (of fire and iron). I've seen Ryker's talents on flickr so I had some idea of what she was capable of, and to see all new pieces and the way she transforms a photograph blew me away. Geisha was my immediate favourite, bright bold colours and seamless editing, but Wickerman was also a top pick. A simple black and white photograph with what looks like minimal editing, the angle and lack of colour made it stand out.

See Ryker's exhibit at Avatrait Island, it's only on until the 13th and some pieces are still available to purchase.
